Locally, 887 new private residential units were sold last month, some 80 per cent more than in March.
Figures from the Urban Renewal Authority show that when executive condominiums are included, 909 new private homes were sold in April.
Developers launched a total of 779 private residential units last month.
Of these, TEMBUSU GRAND at Leofeng Garland in the Canada East area was the most popular, with 354 units sold at a median price of $2,463 per square foot.
