The mixed-use neighborhood could be developed with more than 10,000 residential units, as well as hotels, retail and some office uses.
To create a vibrant residential neighbourhood, the Government is currently exploring the various types of dwellings that could be developed in Marina South to achieve the long-term planning vision for this residential area.
The URA's Marina Garden Lane site, which was unveiled yesterday, is located in Marina South and is on the Government's shortlist for the second half of the land sales programme.
The lot can be built with about 790 residential units and the first floor is for commercial development with a 99-year land lease.
The deadline for bidding is June 27 next year at 12 noon.
