According to estimates released by SRX and 99.co, HDB resale prices rose by a modest 0.2 percent in December compared to the previous month, the lowest rate in 30 months.
Among them, the three-bedroom HDB flats had the biggest increase, up 0.6%.
Four- and five-bedroom HDB flats also rose by 0.2% and 0.3% respectively, while condominium HDB flats declined by 0.4%.
In terms of transaction volume, an estimated 2,242 units were sold last month, 4.8% more than the previous month.
Year-over-year, they were down 7.7%. Resale units for the whole of last year were also down 8.1% from the previous year.
In addition, a total of 28 HDB flats were sold for at least a million dollars last month, two more than the previous month.
In Bishan alone, there were five million dollar resale HDB flats.
The highest price last month was for a double-storey condominium HDB flat in Bukit Timah Dawei Passage, which was sold for $1.3 million.
