For the first time, a million dollar HDB flat in Jurong East was sold for $1 million for a 24-year-old double storey HDB flat.

On the other hand, a double-storey maisonette in Bukit Timah Road was sold for $1.3 million, breaking the record for resale price of a HDB flat.

According to property website 99.co, the first maisonette in Jurong East is located at Block 287D, 21 Street, Jurong East, close to Jurong East MRT station and Westgate, JEM and IMM malls.

The flat, between the seventh and ninth floors, is approximately 1,561 square feet in size and costs $641 per square foot, and is 24 years old with 74 years and seven months left on the lease.

The record-breaking double-storey HDB flat is located between the 10th and 12th floors of Tower 2, Dawei Road, Bukit Timah area.

The flat was sold for $1.3 million, beating the record of $1.29 million set in September this year by another double-storey HDB flat in Block 3 next door.

However, this flat in Block 2 is larger, measuring about 1,615 sq ft at $805 per square foot, while the one in Block 3 is about 1,572 sq ft and is still priced higher at $814 per square foot.

Dawei Passage Block 2 is also located close to Beauty World MRT station and Bukit Timah Pasir Ris and Cooked Food Centre, as well as Bukit Timah Shopping Centre, Beauty World Plaza and Beauty World Centre nearby.
