Abstract: (SINGAPORE) - Eleven double-storey HDB flats in Bukit Timah's Toh Yi Drive have changed hands this year for more than a million dollars, including another low-floor flat that just changed hands this month for $1.29 million (RM4.18 million), breaking not only the HDB resale record in the area but also the highest resale price for a double-storey HDB flat in the country.

The New Matinee reported that the HDB information shows that the double-storey HDB flat (Executive Maisonette) is located on the first to third floors of Block 3 of the Toh Yi Drive, with an area of 150 square meters.

 

The HDB flat was built in 1988 and has a residual land lease of 64 years.

 

According to real estate website 99.co, the unit is currently the highest-priced condominium HDB resale in the area, with the previous highest price of $1.288 million (about RM4.15 million) appearing in Queenstown and Bishan respectively.

 

The district also had a double-storey HDB flat change hands for $1.28 million in September this year, which is located on the seventh to ninth floors of Block 6 of Dawei Pass, with an area of 146 square meters, the previous highest resale price in Bukit Timah.

 

According to HDB, as of the 11th of this month, the condominium HDB flats and five-room flats resold in Bukit Timah this year are all located in Dawei Passage.

 

All 11 condominium units have changed hands for more than a million dollars, and all of them are double-storey HDB flats.

 

The resale price of the five-bedroom units was also significant, with all 10 units reselling for over $800,000 (approximately RM2.59 million), with the highest being $980,000 (approximately RM3.18 million).

If there are parents who want to buy a property in the district and there is a suitable HDB flat, they will consider buying it at a high price of millions.

 

Mak Chun-wing said that the Mayworld MRT station is on the Marina Downtown line, which provides direct access to Newton and Bukit Merah stations, and it is very convenient to take public transport to the city.
