In a Facebook post, Lee said the authorities are also exploring measures to reduce the number of applicants who are invited to select HDB flats but do not do so, so that priority can be given to those with genuine and urgent housing needs.
He said he would provide more details when the Parliamentary Appropriations Committee debates the Ministry of National Development's expenditure budget.
